Analytical Engines, Inc.

About Us

Analytical Engines, Inc. is a small business corporation, located in the Northern Virgina area. Over the past 12 years we have produced NetRule Products for US Government Agencies and commercial companies. We are registered in the CCR and we use Agile processes. We build tools that identify plans for achieving complex telecom network operability and performance objectives.

In 2000, NetRule established itself as the premier modeling and simulation tool on the market and was selected by Network Computing as the top product in its class. NetRule won a number of major awards and reviews, such as “Best of Show” at NETWORLD/INTEROP, Las Vegas, May, 2001, and first place in the the Network Computing Magazines “Editor's Choice” of network simulation tools, April 2000.

NetRule is the company's core product. Over the years, Analytical Engines has been committed to providing world-class software and services tailored to each customer's unique requirements. While it responded to customer needs for new features in NetRule, Analytical Engines also made customized derivatives of NetRule: UTRAN-Rule for Ericsson and SONETRule for DISA. SONETRULE and UTRAN-Rule are engineering tools, respectively facilitating bandwidth allocation of interconnected rings and circuit layout for 3G mobile telecommunications services.

Since 2005, Analytical Engines, Inc. has been producing and customizing another NetRule product, NetRule Agent (NRA). In 2006, Analytical Engines added an agent component to NetRule to fill data gaps and simplify edit and planning procedures. Addding the agent was a significant step in putting network modeling and planning into the hands of several levels of DOD personnel. NRA continues to grow in features. NRA was made operational in multiple DOD locations in 2010.
